We dreamed up MERFYS in 2022 to answer a serious dilemma—we hated putting on duvet covers. Boring, time-consuming and tricky: there had to be a better way. We invented our “pizza box” design that made the process as easy as pie.

We craved bedding that feels like a dream every time you slip under the covers. Sheets that are a breeze to change. And the freedom to mix and match colours to fit our vibe, not the other way around.
Above all, we wanted sheets that make every day feel as good as Sunday morning. So, we made them.
At MERFYS, we recognise that the creation of new products can be inherently unsustainable. However, we’re committed to acting responsibly and reducing our impact on the environment as much as we can while still providing a high-quality product. We measure our impact, act with care in our production methods, and prioritise transparency to promote change within our industry.
IN OUR INTERNAL LAB, WE CHECK THE QUALITY OF PRODUCTS. IF WE USE A NEW FABRIC, WE RUN SAMPLES THROUGH 100-200 WASH CYCLES AND BOIL THEM.
We have stopped using disposable packaging and now use RePack—a specialised reusable packaging that you can return to us or give a "second life" on your own. We also support the Baltic Sea Action Group (BSAG), a non-profit foundation that takes effective actions to restore the good ecological balance of the Baltic Sea in changing climate conditions.
